Crime Resistant Community Partnership

About the partnership
The Crime Resistant Community Partnership (CRCP) was created to foster a relationship between the Lenexa Police Department and rental property owners and managers to help reduce or prevent crime in our hotels and apartment communities.

How it works

The Lenexa Police Department assigns an officer to each neighborhood, apartment complex and hotel. The officer works closely with homes associations, residents and property owners to help implement crime prevention practices, and serves as the contact person in the event problems arise. Property owners are asked to use the Crime Resistant Community Addendum (also available in a Spanish version), which is a lease addendum specifying that certain criminal acts, if committed on the property, will result in immediate termination of the lease and eviction.
