Each summer, Lenexa Parks and Recreation, in partnership with Lenexa Animal Control, sponsors a day to celebrate pets. The 2011 Tails on the Trails pet festival, held on August 13, was a beautiful day to be out at the park enjoying the festival, demonstrations and dog swims.
