Enchanted Forest/Pumpkin Carving

Pumpkin Carving Night
The 2012 Pumpkin Carving Night will be held on October 23 at the Community Center. Participants are invited to bring at least one pumpkin to donate to the Enchanted Forest display, carve it and we’ll clean up the pumpkin mess. There are seasonal treats for all, and carving tools and spoons are provided.

The Enchanted Forest

Lenexa’s Enchanted Forest has something to delight even the smallest Halloween revelers. On October 24 and 25, 2012, the jogging trail in Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park at 87th and Greenway will transform into a forest full of friendly mascot characters, marionette puppets, singers, magicians, seasonal displays, a bonfire and lots of fun stuff for kids. The wooded jogging trail provides the perfect backdrop for this enchanting event. You’ll want to bring the entire family to the “forest” to see what mischievous fun takes place.
